How to make double glazed Sealed units?
First step is to:
choose the best glass the best quality to start the process, there are many different types of glass that can be applied to this process, the most typical is the Annealed or Regular glass, this comes straight from the factory to our shop, from here we can choose what the customer needs in their home.
Second step is:
to Wash the glass thoroughly to remove any dirt gummy or any stains on the glass that will affect the clear view
Third step:
is to Put the glass together after the glass is clean and free of any dirt, we use 2 men to do this process and is one of the most important step because the glass has to be free of any lint or finger prints which makes the job more important.
Glass is Ready to be Sealed with structural foaming glazing IG Sealant, before that we make sure the glass is in a dry moisture free environment
Step #5 is: Seal the glass around the edge to make sure no air paces are in between the glass and the spacer, this is a super important step since the glass unit needs to be sealed 100% to prevent any moisture or air to filter inside the glass unit.
Final step and the most exciting part of the process receiving the glass unit when is completed, now the glass is ready to be shipped to the customer for installation on the window or Door.
